John Worton is a seasoned entrepreneur and company director with extensive Australian and International experience in growth companies. A UK qualified chartered accountant and Sandhurst graduate.

John’s leadership has been instrumental in four initial public offerings to a variety of industries, including OzEmail’s NASDAQ listing in 1996 while serving as the CFO.

John has held C-level positions at various companies. His business career includes roles at Qantas, Opportunity International, BMC Media, Allomak and PKF Chartered Accountants.

Ezzes hails from a distinguished investment career including Goldman Sachs, Thomas H. Lee Capital and Bass Investment Limited Partnership. He has served on the board of directors of a number of US and Australian companies. He served on the board of directors of OzEmail and was instrumental in its successful initial public offering on NASDAQ, as the first Australian company to directly list in the USA.

Previously Chair of Baker McKenzie in Australia, he is consistently ranked as one of the foremost M&A lawyers in Australia. He has had a long term interest in and is an active supporter of early stage investing and growth companies.

An entrepreneur in his own right as well as a supporter of entrepreneurs and philanthropic endeavours in Jamaica. A senior active member of the leading international business network, Young Presidents Organization.


A UK Chartered Accountant with significant Financial and Commercial experience as FD/CFO with US, UK and Australian multinationals in multiple industries. In addition to his financial expertise Chris has spent many years working specifically with CEO’s and Sales teams to develop new business opportunities. Chris has also worked with UK start-ups helping them to raise investor funds and develop strategy as well as implementing management reporting and financial control.

Trained neurologist and hands-on executive with extensive experience in large and small pharmaceutical companies with proven success in setting strategic direction and delivering projects. Has developed, obtained regulatory approval for, and launched significant medications. Global experience including Neuropore, Ever Neuro Pharma, Johnson and Johnson. Led cross- functional teams from preclinical to Phase 1 transition through life-cycle management in areas of Neurology, Psychiatry, Pain, Metabolic Disease and General Medicine.

More than 25 years’ experience in freight forwarding and customs brokerage came to an end when Gregory started and became the largest castor bean farmer in Jamaica. He has since closed that farm and focused on the medicinal cannabis market. Gregory was previously financial controller and corporate administrator for medical research lab on UWI campus for Tanaud International – a subsidiary of Shire Pharmaceuticals.

Nadav is a businessman and agronomist. His extensive experience began in Israel and spans more than 40 years in Africa, North America & Asia. Specializing in transforming medium and large-sized farms into successful companies, Nadav has managed a 5,000-acre banana plantation for export with a staff of 2,800 persons and diversified it crops. Focuses on the establishment and improvement of farm modernization and field practices, export management, plant nutrition and irrigation systems.

Yaron has decades of experience in cultivation and processing crops for human consumption, under controlled conditions and in greenhouses, at commercial scale. For the last six years this included medicinal cannabis under license from the Ministry of Health in Israel. Yaron was the Master Grower at Tikun Olam (Israel’s largest medicinal cannabis grower) and more recently at Canndoc. He brings extensive knowledge, Israeli expertise and contacts in Medicinal Cannabis.

Former Police Commissioner for Jamaica and Chief of Staff of the Jamaica Defense force. After a distinguished 38 year career in public service, the Admiral finds it ironic to be engaged in securing the crop he once sought to eradicate. H. has served on several Boards including the Marine Board, Maritime Authority, and the Caribbean Maritime Institute. He was Jamaica’s representative on the UNDCP’s Informal Correspondence Group on Maritime Cooperation and on the UNESCO Council of the Inter-Governmental Oceanographic Commission.

Sandra comes from a history as banking regulator/analyst. She worked for the South African Reserve Bank’s Banking Supervision Dept for 12 years. Her experience ranges from assessing the compliance of individual banks (in terms of regulatory requirements) to managing a team responsible for research and assessment of the banking sector in terms of performance and adherence to international regulatory standards. She coordinated assessments performed by institutions such as the IMF and World Bank, and worked closely with the Basel Committee.
